Napoli target Valon Behrami, Jan Vertonghen swap?

Napoli are reportedly ready to offer midfielder Valon Behrami to Tottenham Hotspur in exchange for defender Jan Vertonghen.

Napoli midfielder Valon Behrami could reportedly be offered to Tottenham Hotspur in exchange for defender Jan Vertonghen.

Vertonghen indicated earlier this campaign that he was keen to play in the Champions League next season, but that appears unlikely with Spurs with the club currently seven points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with four games to play.

According to Frichajes.net, Napoli could try to tempt Tottenham into parting ways with the Belgian international by offering the versatile Behrami in a straight-swap deal.

The former West Ham United player is believed to be keen on a return to England, but Spurs are likely to demand a sizeable fee from the Serie A club if they are to allow Vertonghen to leave White Hart Lane.
