Roman Pavlyuchenko has confirmed that he intends to leave Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old striker has slipped down the pecking order at White Hart Lane since the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.
Pavlyuchenko believes that he must switch clubs to secure his place in the Russia squad for next year's European Championships.
"I have to do something in the transfer period. We're ahead of the European Championship. If I don't change [clubs] then Euro 2012 will be played without me," he told football-express.com.
"I was fighting and fighting but it was useless. Does Redknapp believe in me? Now I don't think so.
"Will I ask the club to sell me in December? Yes, it's 100%."
Pavlyuchenko joined Spurs in 2008 from Spartak Moscow.
