Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly set his sights on signing Wilmar Barrios from South American giants Boca Juniors.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder has been capped 10 times by Colombia at senior level and is understood to be valued at around £25m.
According to The Sun, Pochettino is keen to bring in a midfield enforcer and Barrios - part of his national side's World Cup plans - ticks all of the boxes.
Spurs are also said to be willing to offload a player to make room, with Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele most at threat, as Pochettino intends to freshen up his squad for the 2018-19 campaign.
Barrios has featured 27 times for Boca in all competitions this season.
