Tottenham Hotspur 'quoted £50m for Burnley's Nick Pope'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly made aware that Burnley will not sell goalkeeper Nick Pope for anything below £50m this summer.

Burnley are reportedly expected to demand £50m for goalkeeper Nick Pope should any clubs register an interest this summer.

The England international has played a key role for the Clarets over the past 18 months, keeping the club outside of the Premier League relegation zone for the majority of that period.

However, the form of the 28-year-old has inevitably led to admiration from elsewhere, including from Tottenham Hotspur, who are considering long-term replacements for Hugo Lloris.

According to LancsLive, Burnley are unlikely to consider selling their most prized asset for anything less than £50m.

Pope will have two years remaining on his contract at the end of the season, with Burnley possessing the option to extend his stay at Turf Moor by an extra year.
