Ajax youngster Sergino Dest has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 19-year-old has broken into the first-team setup at the Dutch giants this season, making 22 starts and eight substitute outings in all competitions.
However, with the American having just over two years left on his contract, there is interest in his signature from elsewhere.
According to Calciomercato, Spurs are contemplating an approach for the prospect as they look to solve their issues at right-back.
While Jose Mourinho have previously been keen on a more experienced player for that position, the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic will lead to Spurs placing more emphasis on value for money.
Nevertheless, they may face difficultly in striking a deal with Ajax, who are already due to part ways with Andre Onana and Donny van de Beek in big-money deals during the next transfer window.
