West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker has been told that unless he is willing to lower his wage demands, he will not complete a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have been linked with the former Newcastle United midfielder for much of the summer, but there is also interest from Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City.
While North London is understood to be Parker's preferred destination, QPR manager Neil Warnock is willing to match the England international's current wages, according to The Mirror.
The Hammers are reportedly unwilling to sell the 30-year-old for anything less than £8.5m, which is said to have put off a number of clubs, including Aston Villa, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Harry Redknapp's side are also believed to have been put off by the demands of both club and player.
