Georginio Wijnaldum has moved to dismiss the notion that he is keen to leave Newcastle United in the summer.
Recent speculation claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United were keen to sign the Netherlands international, who was said to have become disillusioned with life involved in a relegation battle.
However, speaking in his homeland, Wijnaldum stressed that he is "still happy" on Tyneside.
"I knew it was difficult because [Newcastle] had a tough season last year but I made the choice with full confidence and I still do not regret it," he told RTV Rijnmond.
"I'm still happy [at Newcastle]. I am just trying to do my thing and enjoy it - then you are at your best."
The 25-year-old has scored nine Premier League goals from 30 outings this term.
