Wilfried Zaha 'asks to leave Crystal Palace'

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha reportedly hands in a transfer request amid speculation linking him with a £15m move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has reportedly handed in a transfer request.

The 23-year-old has started both of Palace's Premier League games so far this season, but reportedly met with manager Alan Pardew earlier today and asked to leave the club.

Recent speculation has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with the two-time England international over a possible £15m move.

Zaha is understood to be keen on a switch to White Hart Lane in order to play Champions League football this season.

However, Palace are reluctant to sell the winger having already seen Yannick Bolasie leave for Everton this summer.

Zaha has made 223 appearances during his two spells for the Eagles, scoring 27 goals.
