Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam identifies Gareth Bale as the danger man when they face Wales on Friday.

Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam believes that Craig Levein's side need to stop Gareth Bale when they clash with Wales in their World Cup qualifier on Friday.

Adam, who joined Stoke City from Liverpool in the summer, has also singled out Aaron Ramsey, Ashley Williams and Joe Allen for special attention.

"Aaron Ramsay is a top player, there is Ashley Williams, and Joe Allen at Liverpool. I wouldn't just single out Gareth Bale. But he is a top player and if we can stop him it will probably enhance our performance and probably our chances of winning the game," Adam told reporters.

Adam has 19 international caps to his name.
