Norwich City manager Chris Hughton says that his team were not good enough against Stoke City this afternoon.

Chris Hughton has admitted that his Norwich City team were second best against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.

The Canaries fell to a 1-0 defeat courtesy of a Charlie Adam strike just after the break.

"We were in good form but we came up against a Stoke side that were back to their most direct," Hughton told BBC Sport.

"We didn't do enough to win the game. We've got two home games now, which I'd like to think helps. But it's a nervy part of the season."

Aston Villa visit Carrow Road next Saturday.
