Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has played down claims that his side are 'bullies' in the wake of Saturday's 1-0 win over Fulham at the Britannia Stadium.
Fulham manager Martin Jol claimed after the game that Stoke are like "a rugby team", however Pulis has said that the label is "unfair".
"I don't think they were bullied out of it, I think if you have a look at Dimitar Berbatov and a few of the others they are competitive enough, they can look after themselves," Pulis said.
"I think saying they've been bullied is unfair on us, we are strong and we are resilient but we are an honest group of lads that work hard. We are not dirty."
The win lifted Stoke to 11th in the Premier League.
