Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross has denied that he got into a war of words with teammate Kenwyne Jones at the club's training ground.
A report emerged this week claiming that the pair had a heated exchange following Jones's suggestions that a number of players were unhappy under the leadership of former boss Tony Pulis.
"It's the old cliche of don't always read what's in the papers, it is not always truthful," Shawcross told Sky Sports News.
"I think that is what has happened here. Nothing really went on to be honest and team spirit stays as it always has been, fantastic. There are no problems with anyone."
Mark Hughes replaced Pulis at the Britannia ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.
