Peter Crouch keen to remain at Stoke City

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch says that he is confident he still has a future at the club, despite not starting a match so far this season.

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has insisted that he still has a future at the club, despite not starting a Premier League match yet this season.

The 34-year-old has played just 45 minutes of league football so far for the Potters in three substitute appearances.

Crouch has stated that he has not thought about seeking a move away from the Britannia Stadium.

"Ideally, I want to force my way back in and play in a few more games," the former England international told BBC Radio Stoke.

"But I enjoy playing for this club and it's a good place to be right now."

Crouch joined Stoke from Tottenham Hotspur in 2011.
