Preview: Sunderland vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Both Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers will be eager to get points on the board following their respective heavy defeats last week.

Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers will be eager to overcome their last results in the Premier League when both teams face off on Saturday.

Martin O'Neill is likely to name a relatively unchanged side that was beaten 4-0 by Everton on Monday, with Lee Cattermole and Craig Gardner lining up in midfield.

Stephane Sessegnon is expected to lead the line for the Black Cats when they welcome struggling Wolves to the Stadium of Light.

Meanwhile, Terry Connor, who has taken just one point since becoming temporary boss at Molineux, is likely to start Christophe Berra in defence following Sebastien Bassong's red card in Wolves' 3-0 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday.

The West Midlands side will be hoping that Kevin Doyle can claim some much-needed goals in the North East at the weekend.

Current form:

Sunderland: LWLDDL

Possible lineups:

Sunderland: Mignolet; Richardson, Turner, Kilgallon; Larsson, Cattermole, Gardner, Colback, McClean; Vaughan, Sessegnon
