Swansea City will reportedly name a new manager by the end of this week.

Swansea City are reportedly hoping to appoint a successor to Brendan Rodgers by the end of this week.

The Welsh club have been searching for a new manager since Rodgers took the decision to move to Liverpool a fortnight ago.

A number of names have been linked with the vacancy at the Liberty Stadium including Gus Poyet, Marcel Desailly, Dennis Bergkamp and Graeme Jones.

However, it now appears that Blackpool boss Ian Holloway and Michael Laudrup are the leading contenders for the job, according to Wales Online.

Both are believed to have held talks with the club's board in recent days.
