Joe Allen listed as English in Team GB official programme

Joe Allen is listed as English in the Team GB official programme.

There has been a further mistake by Olympic Games organisers as Welsh footballer Joe Allen has been listed as English in the official Team GB programme.

Yesterday organisers had to apologise after making the embarrassing mistake of showing the wrong Korean flag before last night's Colombia vs DPR Korea game.

Allen is one of five Welsh players in the Team GB squad but the only one whose nationality has been incorrectly labelled.

The Swansea City midfielder is reportedly being pursued by former manager Brendan Rodgers, now boss of Liverpool.
