Swansea City manager Bob Bradley urges his players and supporters to "stick together" following another heavy defeat on their travels on Saturday afternoon.

Bob Bradley has insisted that he 'knew what he was getting into' when joining Swansea City and has no intention of stepping aside as manager.

The 58-year-old saw his side fall to another heavy defeat on their travels on Saturday as they slipped to a 3-0 reverse against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Defeat leaves Swansea just one place off the foot of the Premier League table, kept off the bottom by goal difference alone, with 37 goals being conceded so far this season - more than any other team in the division.

Eighteen of those have been shipped since Bradley took over from Francesco Guidolin in October, but the American is determined to stick around and help guide his side out of the relegation zone.

"When I came here I knew what I was getting into and I'm not backing down from it now," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "That's the challenge.

"When the team has put itself in a tough spot, everybody has got to stick together during the toughest times and fight the fight. I put pressure on myself to see if we can get stronger and fight for points. I will continue to do that."

Swansea return to action on Boxing Day with a home match against West Ham United, before welcoming Bournemouth to the Liberty Stadium five days later.
