Garry Monk has revealed that Swansea City are still working on an agreement to find a new club for out-of-favour forward Michu.
The 29-year-old has struggled to match the level of his maiden campaign at the Liberty Stadium, in which he found the net 18 times in the Premier League alone.
Michu was subsequently loaned to Napoli last season, where he was restricted to just three league appearances due to a succession of injury problems.
"We're still trying to come to an agreement that suits both parties and hopefully help Michu find what he needs to find," Monk is quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.
"But we're in the same situation as I've spoken about before. "You'd imagine [he'll leave permanently]. He has just this year left on his contract, so we're just trying to come to an agreement that suits Michu himself and this club."
Rayo Vallecano sporting director Felipe Minambres revealed last month that the Spanish outfit had made an approach for the Swansea attacker.
