Cardiff City have bid accepted for Etienne Capoue

Toulouse have accepted a bid of £8.6m from Cardiff City for midfielder Etienne Capoue

The French star has been linked with a move to England in the past, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly interested.

Earlier in the summer the Ligue 1 side's chairman Olivier Sadran admitted that he would let the 25-year-old leave for the right price.

Sadran has now revealed that a bid from Cardiff thought to be around €10m (£8.6m) has been accepted and said that any other club will have to match that price.

"Now the clubs interested in Etienne have to know we will not accept any offer inferior to the one from Cardiff," he told reporters.

Capoue has been at Toulouse his whole career, making 112 appearances and scoring 12 goals.
