Uruguay to pull out of World Cup?

Uruguay are reportedly considering boycotting the World Cup after Luis Suarez's four-month ban for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.

Uruguay are contemplating not taking the field for their second-round match against Colombia, it has been reported.

Oscar Tabarez's players are allegedly aggrieved about Luis Suarez being handed a four-month ban from football by FIFA for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini in their 1-0 win in Natal on Tuesday.

Colombian news anchor Vicky Davila posted on Twitter: "The delegate of Uruguay said that the country's players are even thinking about a no-show, after the sanctions against Suarez."

Uruguay and Colombia are scheduled to play on Saturday at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.
