Wales manager Chris Coleman has insisted that he would never quit his post.
The Dragons have been unable to qualify for a major tournament for some time and currently sit bottom of their World Cup qualifying group.
"We've got to concentrate on Friday night and try and achieve a result that's the biggest thing," he told BBC Sport. "I'm here until the end of the campaign. I would never, ever walk from this job.
"I've always said I'll see this campaign through and whatever happens after that what will be will be. I'm not thinking about that, I'm thinking about Macedonia."
Coleman took over Wales in 2012.
