Watford have confirmed that goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has signed a new deal which will keep him at Vicarage Road until June 2019.
The 36-year-old has been on the books of the Hornets for three years after joining from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in 2014.
Gomes has since gone on to make 115 league appearances for Watford, helping steer the club to promotion from the Championship in his first season.
The former Brazil international played 33 out of 38 Premier League games for Watford last season as the club retained their top-flight status.
The Hornets released a statement which read: "Watford FC is delighted to announce that goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has signed a new two-year deal with the club."
Gomes, who has won the Watford players' player of the season award two years running, is playing under his eighth manager at the club after the appointment of former Hull City boss Marco Silva.
