Watford are reportedly planning a move to sign Leicester City striker Islam Slimani, but the Hornets could end up spending more than £20m should they wish to sign him.
Slimani, who was signed by the Foxes following the club's Premier League triumph, has failed to muster a solid run in the team and could be persuaded to leave the King Power Stadium for pastures new.
The Watford Observer says that Marco Silva's team are tracking the forward, but that Leicester will only sell if a price close to his transfer value of £30m is put forward.
Slimani became the Foxes' record signing when he moved to England from Sporting Lisbon, and the club would be keen to avoid making a loss on the player.
Watford signed Andre Gray from Burnley in the summer for £18.5m to bolster the attacking options at Vicarage Road.
