Sam Allardyce unsure of Diafra Sakho return

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce admits that Diafra Sakho could be sidelined for the rest of the season.

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that he is unsure when forward Diafra Sakho will be back in action.

The 25-year-old is currently suffering with a thigh injury that he picked up during last weekend's 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

Allardyce has now admitted that Sakho could miss the remainder of the season.

"He's got a problem with his thigh. He may be back towards the end of the season, we're not sure yet, we have to be very careful that he doesn't aggravate the injury. He may be back in a few weeks," he told the club's official website.

West Ham continue their Premier League campaign tomorrow when they make the trip to champions Manchester City.
