Sam Allardyce: 'Twitter is a dangerous tool'

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce admits that Twitter is "uncontrollable".

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has called the social networking site Twitter "a very dangerous tool".

The former Newcastle boss was responding to the FA charge handed to Hammers midfielder Ravel Morrison, for an "abusive" tweet.

"I think in the main it's a very dangerous tool, it's uncontrollable, it doesn't appear to come under anybody's law, so people can say what they want, when they want, and I think that is a very dangerous tool to be bandied around the world," Allardyce told Sky Sports News.

West Ham travel to Blackpool in the Championship on Tuesday evening.
