Harry Redknapp dismisses West Ham United link

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp rejects claims that he is about to replace Sam Allardyce at his former club West Ham United.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has dismissed claims that he is about to replace Sam Allardyce at West Ham United.

It was reported on Tuesday that the 66-year-old was in line to make a return to Upton Park should Allardyce lose his job with the Premier League club.

However, Redknapp insists that he does not plan on leaving QPR anytime soon.

"They have got a good manager in Sam, so I don't see that happening," he told Getwestlondon.co.uk. "I'm very happy managing QPR and lucky to be at such a good club."

Redknapp spent 14 years both as a player and manager at West Ham before severing his ties with the club in 2001.
