West Ham United confirm Olympic Stadium season tickets sold out

West Ham United confirm that they have sold out of season tickets for the 2016-17 Premier League season at the Olympic Stadium.

West Ham United have announced that all season tickets for the 2016-17 campaign at the club's new home, the Olympic Stadium, have sold out.

Fifty thousand season tickets and Club London seats have been snapped up by Hammers fans, meaning that the stadium will be full for practically every home game in the league next season.

West Ham's vice-chairman Karren Brady told the club's official website: "David Sullivan, David Gold and I have always believed in the West Ham fanbase and knew we could fill the new stadium.

"Reports consistently show that we have highest average capacity in the Premier League and every game in our final season at the Boleyn Ground sold out within days of going on sale.

"So having made the bold decision to move to the former Olympic Stadium, we are delighted to see how it has captured the imagination of the Hammers fanbase. We find ourselves going into our first season with more than 50,000 season-ticket holders and tens of thousands of people on the Priority List for seasonal seats in 2017-18."

The Hammers will now have the highest number of season-ticket holders in London, as well as the highest percentage in the entire top flight after moving from a 35,000-seater stadium to a ground with a capacity of 60,000.

The club will end their 112-year stay at the Boleyn Ground tomorrow night when they take on Manchester United in their penultimate game of the season.
