Half-Time Report: Wigan Athletic, Burnley goalless at the break

Wigan Athletic and Burnley play out a goalless first half in their Championship clash.

Wigan Athletic are holding high-flying Burnley to a goalless scoreline at half time in the Championship.

The hosts had the lion's share of possession at the DW Stadium early on, as Nick Powell saw a long-range effort go over the bar.

Keith Treacy fired one back for the visitors, but his effort was comfortably saved by Ali Al-Habsi in the Wigan goal.

David Jones came closest right at the death, but his effort struck the crossbar and the Latics scrambled it clear.
