Scott Carson will fly to England for talks with Wigan Athletic tomorrow after the Latics agreed a £700,000 fee for his services with Bursaspor.
The former England international goalkeeper has spent two seasons in Turkey but is reported to be desperate for a move home in search of regular first-team football.
New Wigan boss Owen Coyle has moved swiftly to sign the 27-year-old, with current first-choice shot-stopper Ali Al Habsi ruled out for at least two months with a hip injury.
Carson is due in Wigan for talks over personal terms and will turn his back on a chance to play Champions League football at Bursaspor to join the Championship outfit, according to The Mirror.
Coyle also reportedly wants to sign Newcastle United defender James Perch as he looks to build a squad capable of achieving immediate promotion to the Premier League.
