Nuno was fined by the Football Association for his actions against Leicester.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo insists he is happy to run the risk of another fine after being handed an £8,000 punishment.

The manager was disciplined by the Football Association this week after being sent off for running on the pitch following Diogo Jota's last-minute winner against Leicester on Saturday.

It sealed a 4-3 win for Wolves at Molineux but, rather than change his ways, Nuno admits he may not be able to stop himself.

"Not only me, managers, players, it's such a moment of joy sometimes you  cannot contain yourself," he said, ahead of Saturday's FA Cup trip to Shrewsbury.

"Everyone knows it's hard to contain those emotions in such a special moment, the last minute of the game, a goal which gave us such an important victory.

"I tried to avoid it but I think I still maintain the referee took the right decision but everyone understands why I went onto the pitch."

Wolves remain without the suspended Willy Boly but have no injury worries ahead of the trip to New Meadow.

Shrewsbury are 18th in Sky Bet League One, a point above the relegation zone, but Nuno is wary of an upset.

He added: "We have a tough challenge, we cannot think about anything ahead of it. The cups and these games are unpredictable, we have prepared knowing we have to maintain our high standards and compete.

"We don't think about the result, we know what we have to do – complete, play and be intense."

The manager also celebrated his 45th birthday on Friday with the players at training.

"Everybody runs down a (man-made) tunnel so we did it and celebrated together, happy days. It's a tradition. I had a cake and it was quite nice," he added.
