Nouha Dicko bagged a brace as Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a slender 2-1 half-time lead over Bristol City at Molineux today.
The hosts started much the better of the two teams and found themselves ahead within 10 minutes.
Dicko, who enjoyed a loan spell at Molineux last season, reintroduced himself to the supporters in fine fashion, firing past City goalkeeper Elliot Parish at the near post to mark his second debut for the club with a goal.
However, Kenny Jackett's men surrendered the advantage midway through the half, as James Henry conceded a penalty for a foul on Greg Cunningham.
Sam Baldock, who bagged a brace in the 2-2 draw with MK Dons last time out, stepped up and kept his cool from 12 yards to restore parity for the visitors.
Nevertheless, Dicko was on hand once more in the closing stages of the half to give his team the lead again as Jackett's troops secure a 2-1 half-time lead.
