Kenny Jackett wants Wolves to "settle down" after season-opening victory

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett wants his players to "settle down" after their opening-day win over Norwich City in the Championship.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Kenny Jackett has said that he wants his players to "settle down" after winning their first game back in the Championship against Norwich City.

Wolves edged out 10-man Norwich 1-0 on Sunday to kickstart their season following their promotion from League One in 2013-14.

"Pressure builds up and everyone wants to get to that first day and winning then is a big thing, especially with us coming into a new division," Jackett told the club website.

"After that you have to settle down, find your feet in the division you are in and make sure that you are effective.

"So it was a good day and a start for us and now we have to carry it on."

Wolves next host League Two side Northampton Town in the Capital One Cup tomorrow night before travelling to fellow promoted side Rotherham United in the league on Saturday.
