Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo praises his side after their "special" win over West Ham United at the weekend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has hailed his side for sticking to their gameplan after they claimed their first Premier League win of the season at West Ham United on Saturday.

The visitors walked away with all three points thanks to Adama Traore's stoppage-time winner at the London Stadium, one week on from their impressive draw with champions Manchester City.

"The win was special for the boys because we didn't change since day one – and for us, day one was last season," Nuno told reporters after the game. "We play the same way and do the same things. We tried to create solutions, the players are improving, and things will happen naturally, it is a growing process.

"Of course, it is a lot easier to work with good results. I think the organisation is the most important part of the game. As long as you play the way you train, you are close to winning."

Next up for the Midlands outfit is a home encounter with Burnley after the international break on September 16.
