Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Dean Saunders has insisted that Kaspars Gorkss will be able to have an influence off the pitch at Molineux.
Gorkss has signed on a three-month loan deal from Reading and after winning the Championship in the last two seasons, Saunders believes that the Latvian centre-back can have a positive effect on the club's younger players.
Saunders told the Birmingham Mail: "He's won the league in the last two years. At half-time tomorrow, I'm sure he'll have something to offer no matter how the game is going.
"He's been there before and done it. He's able to talk to the players around him and say, 'Keep doing what you're doing' or 'don't worry'.
"I've given two of the young players coming through a chance - Danny Bathh and Jake Cassidy - so that's still in my thoughts but we have to have some players who are going to guide the youngsters."
Gorkss is expected to make his debut against Derby County at Pride Park tomorrow.
