Promoted from the Championship as champions a year ago, expectations were high among the Wolverhampton Wanderers faithful as the Midlands side embarked upon their first Premier League campaign in six years.
Few could have predicted just how well Nuno's men would go on to do, however, as they ended the season seventh in the standings and on the cusp of European football for the first time in almost 40 years. The club also had a memorable run in the FA Cup, knocking out Liverpool and Manchester United en route to the semi-final at Wembley.
