Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly agreed a sale with Sporting Lisbon to allow defender Ruben Vinagre to move to Portugal.
The 22-year-old was initially loaned out to Olympiacos at the beginning of last season, but after just four appearances for the Greek giants, Wolves decided a temporary switch to Famalicao would be a more beneficial move.
During his spell with Famalicao, Vinagre made 20 appearances in the Primeira Liga, meaning that he would arrive in Lisbon with some experience of the Portuguese league.
Football Insider reports that Wolves have agreed to let Vinagre join Sporting Lisbon for a fee of £8.6m, after permanently arriving at Molineux for £2m in 2019.
Vinagre's opportunity to play regular first-team football with Wolves next season seemed to diminish when it was reported that the West Midlands club agreed a deal in principle to sign Rayan Ait-Nouri on a permanent basis.
The Portuguese left-back initially joined Wolves on loan from Monaco in 2017, and he has gone on to make 70 appearances for the club.
