Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keeping tabs on Internacional striker Nicolas Lopez as they begin planning for the summer transfer window.
The Midlands outfit currently sit seventh in the Premier League table and this week became the first side outside of the top six to mathematically guarantee themselves a spot in the top flight next term.
According to reports in the South American media, Wolves representatives are in Brazil tonight to watch Lopez feature for his side in a Copa Libertadores encounter with River Plate - a game in which he opened the scoring after 18 minutes.
The 25-year-old, known affectionately as 'The Rabbit' because of his protruding teeth, has hit almost 40 goals over the last three years since joining Internacional off the back of unsuccessful stints in Italy with Roma and Udinese.
Finding a new striker is thought to be a summer priority for Wolves as they look for a back-up to Raul Jimenez, who is poised to become the club's £30m record signing this week.
