Huddersfield Giants have convincingly seen off the Leeds Rhinos 48-24 at the Galpharm Stadium.

Three unanswered tries from Leroy Cudjoe, Luke George and Michael Lawrence saw Huddersfield establish a 16-0 lead after 28 minutes.

James Keinhorst and Danny Brough then exchanged tries just before the break, seeing Huddersfield go into half time 22-4 to the good.

After a slow start to the second half, Luke Robinson opened the scoring for the Giants in the 56th minute, before Ryan Hall pulled another score back for the Rhinos five minutes later.

Huddersfield once again showed their dominance with three more tries though Scott Grix, Luke Robinson and Leroy Cudjoe.

Kallum Watkins, Carl Ablett and Jamie Peacock launched a late onslaught for Leeds but there was no way of catching Huddersfield as they ran out 48-24 winners.
