Quinn Roux set for Ireland debut in second Test against South Africa

Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt makes five changes for his side's second Test against South Africa, with Quinn Roux set for his debut against the country of his birth.

Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has made five changes to his team for Saturday's second Test against South Africa.

Second-rower Quinn Roux is in the starting XV and set for his debut against the country of his birth, partnering Devin Toner in a new-look Ireland team to face the Springboks at Ellis Park.

Roux joins Craig Gilroy, Stuart Olding, Tadhg Furlong and Rhys Ruddock in Schmidt's side for the match in Johannesburg, while Tiernan O'Halloran and Sean Reidy could win their first caps off the bench.

Ireland are aiming to become the first home nation to win a Test series in South Africa, having triumphed 26-20 in the first game in Cape Town last week.
