Stade Francais have claimed a 31-24 victory over Newcastle Falcons in their Challenge Cup match this evening.
The visitors took an early lead thanks to Juan Pablo Socino's try and Rory Clegg's conversion, but Krisnan Inu went over before Morne Steyn kicked between the posts to level the scores.
Further tries from Djibril Camara and Paul Williams left Stade Francais in control, but Simon Hammersley's try and another conversion from Clegg closed the gap.
At the end of the first half the hosts scored a penalty try, with Steyn converting to give his side a 24-14 lead going into the break.
Within six minutes of the restart Scott Wilson went over for Newcastle's third try of the evening and Clegg subsequently converted.
The scores were tied again just past the hour-mark as Clegg kicked over a penalty for the visitors.
However, a late try from Remi Bonfils and a conversion from Steyn sealed the win for Stade Francais.
