Heather Watson's second-round match at the Australian Open has been pushed back by at least an hour as a five-set battle continues on court eight this morning.
The British number one was scheduled to play against Ksenia Pervak at around 2am UK time but Watson has been made to wait by a topsy-turvy battle in the men's singles.
Polish prodigy Jerzy Janowicz was a heavy favourite to beat India's Somdev Devvarman but fell two sets behind after losing the opener in a tie-breaker that lasted 22 points.
Janowicz has battled back to take the third and with the pair heading towards a fifth-set decider Watson and her supporters are being made to wait in Melbourne.
