Andy Murray has stated that he will play for Great Britain in Saturday's doubles if it will help beat France in the Davis Cup quarter-finals.
The two-time Grand Slam champion beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in straight sets this afternoon to level the cup tie after James Ward lost to Gilles Simon earlier in the day.
GB captain Leon Smith will consider playing Murray in tomorrow's doubles, while brother Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot are also in the running.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Andy Murray said: "I always want to play but I've had a long few months. It's about doing what is best for us to win the tie and also about being fresh for Sunday. Hopefully I can play."
Smith added that the team will discuss their options this evening, with the doubles starting at 1pm at Queen's tomorrow.
