Serena Williams eased into the final of the US Open with a comfortable win over world number one Caroline Wozniacki.
The number 28 seed won their semi-final meeting 6-2 6-4 on the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Williams broke Wozniacki's serve five times during the match as she continued her comeback from injury to reach her first Grand Slam final since winning Wimbledon last year.
"I really feel like I don't have anything to lose, I have beaten all the odds," said Williams.
"Six months ago I was in the hospital and now I'm in the final. So I feel like, regardless of the result, I have been a champion for everyone out there who is fighting against all odds and staying positive."
The 29-year-old will face Samantha Stosur, who beat Angelique Kerber 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 in her semi-final, in the final on Sunday night.
