Richard Gasquet: 'Grigor Dimitrov will bounce back'

Richard Gasquet backs Grigor Dimitrov to bounce back from his straight-sets defeat to the Frenchman in the third round of Wimbledon.

Richard Gasquet has said that Grigor Dimitrov has a "great future" and has backed him to come back stronger following his third-round Wimbledon exit today.

Gasquet, ranked 20th in the world, thumped the 11th seed 6-3 6-4 6-4 on Centre Court this afternoon to advance into the last-16 stage at SW19.

"It's important to win a match on the biggest court in the world so I'm really happy with the way I played," he told BBC Sport.

"He served well but I didn't lose my serve and didn't lose a set. Maybe he is not in the best form but of course he will come back. He has a great future and is still young."

Gasquet will face Australian Nick Kyrgios in the last 16.
