Arsenal attacker Marquinhos has been handed his debut for the club in Thursday's Europa League Group A opener with FC Zurich.
The 19-year-old impressed for the Under-23s during his early days at the club and has been promoted to the first-team bench in recent Premier League fixtures.
With Bukayo Saka in need of a break, Marquinhos is set for his first minutes on the right-hand side - one of seven changes for the Gunners - as Fabio Vieira also makes his full debut after coming on as a substitute in last weekend's defeat to Manchester United.
Gabriel Martinelli holds his spot in the Gunners attack, but Eddie Nketiah - as expected - replaces Gabriel Jesus as he aims to become the fifth Englishman to score in three consecutive Europa League starts.
Mikel Arteta's lack of midfield options means that Albert Sambi Lokonga and Granit Xhaka pair up once again, with 21-year-old Matt Smith on the bench as he awaits his senior debut.
Further back, William Saliba makes way for Rob Holding, while Gabriel Magalhaes holds his place, and the duo of Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko drop out for Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney.
USA goalkeeper Matt Turner makes his bow in between the sticks for Arsenal, as Aaron Ramsdale and Karl Hein both take up places on the bench.
Arsenal starting lineup: Turner; Tomiyasu, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Lokonga, Xhaka, Vieira; Marquinhos, Nketiah, Martinelli
Subs: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Zinchenko, Smith, Cirjan, Cozier-Duberry, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus, Hein
