Arsenal handed 'triple fitness boost' ahead of Liverpool clash

Jack Wilshere, Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta could make their return to the Arsenal side against Liverpool.

Arsenal have been handed a triple fitness boost ahead of their crunch Premier League clash with Liverpool in a fortnight's time.

Jack Wilshere, Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta have returned to training and could feature against the Reds on April 4, according to the Daily Mail.

All three players were long-term absentees through injury, with Wilshere missing the last four months due to ankle surgery and Arteta last featuring in November 2014.

Debuchy has been missing since early January with a shoulder injury.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also said to be in contention to face Liverpool as he nears full fitness following an hamstring problem, although he could be rested until Arsenal's meeting with Burnley the following week.
