Bob Wilson slams "despicable" Jose Mourinho

Arsenal legend Bob Wilson hits back at "boring" Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho for his comments on Arsene Wenger, describing the Portuguese as "despicable".

Arsenal legend Bob Wilson has hit back at "boring" Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho for his comments about Arsene Wenger, describing the Portuguese as "despicable".

Both managers were embroiled in war of words during the week, with the Blues boss suggesting that his French counterpart 'specialises in failure' having presided over a nine-year trophy drought in North London.

"I think at it's best it's disrespectful, at it's worst despicable," Wilson told BBC Radio 5 live. "I find him boring in the extreme.

"I think it's personal. He is a hugely talented, amazing manager but a self-publicist and it's mainly inaccurate."

Wilson enjoyed an 11-year spell at the club between 1963 and 1974.
