Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could be working with a near fully-fit squad for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners opened their account for the 2022-23 season with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last Friday, but Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Vieira and Takehiro Tomiyasu - the latter of whom played for the Under-21s - were all absent.

However, the trio have been back in training this week and should be fit enough for places among the substitutes, with Vieira seeking to make his debut for the North London club, but Reiss Nelson is now out with a quadriceps problem.

William Saliba was handed the man-of-the-match award on his long-awaited competitive debut for the club at Selhurst Park, and the 21-year-old should be handed his Emirates bow alongside Gabriel Magalhaes.

The Saliba-Gabriel pairing would allow Ben White to continue at right-back, with Oleksandr Zinchenko expected to keep Kieran Tierney out of the side on the left.

Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will form their midfield pairing as ever, while captain Martin Odegaard will hope for an improved display after flattering to deceive against Palace.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are in no danger of losing their places out wide, as Gabriel Jesus - who has struck five times in seven games versus Leicester - aims to score his first competitive goal for the club.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Jesus
