Diego Costa does not want to join Arsenal during the January transfer window, according to Atletico Madrid sporting director Jose Luis Caminero.
The Gunners have been linked with activating the Brazil-born Spanish international's release clause this month, with their shortage in strikers recently exacerbated by injuries to Olivier Giroud, Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott, with the latter to miss the rest of the season.
"The player has a clause of €38m (£31.5m) and the big clubs in England know this," Caminero told Sky Sports News.
"Diego Costa has matured and is smart when it comes to decision-making. Right now, Costa does not think of leaving, he is hooked on Atletico.
"He has re-signed a deal that is important, I am confident he will continue with us."
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Diego Costa.
