Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea duo Armando Broja and Tino Anjorin on permanent deals in this summer's transfer window.

Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea duo Armando Broja and Tino Anjorin on permanent deals in this summer's transfer window.

Broja has impressed on loan with the Saints this season, netting eight times in 26 appearances across all competitions, and he has developed into a key player for Ralph Hasenhuttl's side.

Anjorin, meanwhile, spent the first half of this season on loan with Russian side Lokamotiv Moscow, before switching to Championship outfit Huddersfield Town in January on a temporary deal until the end of the campaign.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is prepared to cash in on both players to help finance summer moves for his top targets, with the report adding that the uncertainty surrounding owner Roman Abramovich is likely to have no bearing on transfer activity.

The Blues made over £100m from the sales of Tammy Abraham, Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori and Marc Guehi last summer, which helped fund the signing of Romelu Lukaku for around £97.5m.

Southampton are now prepared to swoop for 20-year-old's Broja and Anjorin ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, with the former – who has also been linked with Arsenal – valued at around £25m by Chelsea.

Broja is under contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2026, while Anjorin will see his Chelsea deal expire a year earlier.
